Car Program
Gaining Independence through Reliable Transportation
Setting them up for success
Car Program
The Problem
9 out of 10 foster teens age out of the system without a driver’s license. Even fewer have access to a reliable vehicle. Lack of reliable transportation keeps these young people from getting a good job, attending school, and becoming independent.
Our Solution
Provide vehicles for qualified, 18+ year-old teens in the Inspire Idaho Community to help them work and/or attend school, become independent, and develop responsibility to help them flourish as adults. Youth who successfully complete this developmental, 9-month program take ownership of their vehicle.
Driver Qualifications
