We mentor young people aging out of foster care to help them flourish as adults.

We are a deeply relational mentoring organization, shaped by three core beliefs:

Foster Youth Matter

Young people experiencing foster care often feel unwanted and rejected; like they don’t matter. But we believe each one is a unique image-bearer of God. So, we treat each one with dignity, celebrate who they are, and encourage them to become the best version of themselves.

Relationships Change Lives

God created us to live loved and love others. We grow into our best selves through meaningful relationships. By building trust-filled connections with foster youth, we invite them to grow alongside us and, ultimately, to experience the God who made us to enjoy a priority relationship with him.

Changed Lives Transform Generations

When foster youth trade neglect and despair for healing and hope, they are forever changed. This renewal reshapes their values, dreams, future families, and influence, as they embrace a legacy of hope and flourishing that impacts generations to come.

What Makes Us Unique:

Dual Focus Mentoring: Many organizations serve foster youth, either before or after they age out of the system at age 18. Inspire Idaho does both. By building relationships with teens under 18, we establish a platform of trust that allows us to continue mentoring them when they age out.

Personalized Mentoring: We guide youth to define their Big Win (the life they want to live) and then help them to begin stacking smaller wins that will help them to experience their Big Win over time. Along the way, we help them learn to flourish personally, spiritually, and practically.

Long-view Mentoring: Genuine life-change takes time. So, we are patient with our youth and young adults, often walking alongside them for years to help them experience lasting change.
